Masunaga GMS-118, 119TS in stock now!

Here is the second introduction of frames just arrived from Masunaga.

We are pleased to introduce the newest addition to the GMS series.

The GMS series stands for "Gozaemon Masunaga Spectacle.

Founded in 1905 by Gozaemon Masunaga, Masunaga Gogan is a company with a history of over 100 years, and is said to be the pioneer in establishing the current eyeglass industry in Fukui Prefecture.

The GMS series was created by reviewing the vast archive of frame designs at Masunaga Eyeglasses and adding current technology and design. Therefore, the GMS series is a redesigned frame based on the cool aspects of Meiji and Taisho era eyeglass designs.

The first one is the GMS-118S.

It features an octagonal front design that is rarely seen today.

The design of the plastic front surrounded by titanium looks like a plastic frame, but structurally it is a completely metal frame.

The design is well detailed with a logo and a pattern on the bridge.

The size is designed for men with small faces and just right for women.

The next item we will introduce is the GMS-119TS.

These round glasses have a slightly more classic look than the 118s, but by wrapping the plastic with a titanium rim and designing the bridge with a plastic cover, the round frames can be worn in a stylish way in 2025 without giving off the feeling of the Taisho era. I think it has been finished in a way that it can be worn stylishly even by people in the 2025 era.

The trick to wearing round frames is basically to wear them a little small to look cool, but like the 118, these frames are suitable for men and women with small faces, since they are made small overall.

Please try to hang it up.
