Normal plastic frames are made of acetate, but these are made of celluloid, an old-fashioned material that is highly rare.

Since celluloid material is not easily deformed, the frames are finished with a thickness of 4 mm, which is thinner than usual, so that they can be worn without creating an excessive presence despite being plastic frames.

There are two types of front designs, one with a large vertical width and the other with a small width. Both are orthodox shapes, so they are easy to match with both suits and T-shirts.

Made in Japan in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, these celluloid frames cost 24,200 yen including tax, and are actually quite cosy.
