Introduction of Osaka Optical

Volunteer Activities (CSR)

We participate in the volunteer program to distribute free reading glasses in Thailand every year.
Please bring your unused eyeglasses lying in your wardrobe!

The Japan-Thailand Eyeglass Volunteer Group (JTO-VG), a non-profit organization of which Osaka Eyeglasses is a member, has been committed to handing over eyeglasses directly to Thai people at temples throughout Thailand since 1998.
This volunteer activity, which is officially recognized by the Buddhist Church of Thailand, is conducted with the full cooperation of Mr. Pichai, Vice Monk of Wat Pagnum, Bangkok, Thailand, and the Thai Red Cross Society, and is conducted at temples throughout Thailand.

What we value in this activity is to "hand-deliver" them "directly" to you.
Although these are simple reading glasses, we know that each person's power is different, so we will measure your power on site so that you can bring reading glasses with the optimal power.

This is a long-lasting activity that has been going to Thailand once a year and is now in its 20th year. If you have frames that you do not use and that are still in your wardrobe at home, we would be very grateful if you could donate them to us.
