We are actively involved in the management of the cooperative Musashi-Kosugi shopping district and the Ekimae-dori shopping street. We actively cooperate in various shopping district events, including the operation of the biannual Mochi Tsuki Festival, the operation of the Tezukuri Market, cleanup activities at the Kosugi Core Park, participation and cooperation in the Kosugi Festa, and participation and cooperation in the Summer Festival.

Considering Osaka Eyeglasses as a "point" in the community, it is important to think of the area of Musashi Kosugi as a "surface. We are working together with other merchants in the area to make the "surface" more enjoyable, thinking that this is the first step toward making the area a place where many customers can easily enjoy themselves.

We have collaborated with "Kurashi no Kenkou Shitsujo" (Health Center for Daily Life), which is run by Dr. Nishi of Ida Hospital, and we have actively interacted with other organizations active in the community, which has been a great source of inspiration for us.

We operate at Kosugi University, which started in September 2013.

I started this group with my friends because I thought it would be fun to have a place to learn that is a little more relaxed than existing universities, graduate schools, or corporate training programs. It is a "learning house" where people from adults to children, who live or work in Musashi-Kosugi, and who love their hometown, gather to learn and connect in a free, broad, and fun environment.

In recent years, a number of unique universities with the name "social universities" have sprung up across Japan, and Kosugi University is one of them. Kosugi University" is one of them. By deepening horizontal cooperation with other social universities across the country, we are deepening our understanding of local people and issues, and actively exchanging opinions and sharing problems with our colleagues across the country.
