HOYA has created a new lens coat!

White" has been added to the reflective color of the lens coating.This allows for a clean look when color is added to the lenses. The usual reflective color for lens coatings was "green," but green would change the image of the color even if the lens was colored.

The right image above shows the conventional coating color, the middle one is the newly released white color, and the left one is the blue color with blue light cut.

It is a little hard to tell, but can you see the different colors of the surface reflection?

Of course, the color has not just changed. The functionality of the coating has also been retained. The anti-static function is also available to prevent dust and pollen from sticking to the surface during the coming pollen season.

It also has the highest level of anti-scratch function. Here is an image of steel wool rubbed with a 6 kg load. Since it is rubbed with steel wool, it is natural that it is scratched, but still no scratches are found.
