MIDO Exhibition Vol.1

We are here in Milan, Italy to visit the MIDO exhibition, one of the largest eyeglass exhibitions in the world.

MIDO

It is customary in the industry worldwide to release new eyeglass frames twice a year, and two of the largest exhibitions in the world are the MIDO exhibition held in Milan, Italy in the spring and the SILMO exhibition held in Paris, France in the fall.

Eyeglass exhibitions are held all over the world (including Tokyo, of course), and it is even said that in order to become a "brand that wants to compete globally" in the European and North American markets, the so-called advanced eyeglass countries, it is necessary to receive a high evaluation at these exhibitions.

Since I had the opportunity to visit such an exhibition, I hope to bring back some hints to help customers use Osaka Eyeglasses more comfortably.

This blog is a prelude to the exhibition, which finally starts today, and we have been exploring the city of Milan.

MIDO

I flew into Milan via Paris, and from the plane I was able to see the Alps at sunrise. From the plane, I was able to see the Alps at sunrise. The ridges of the mountains were so beautiful that no two were alike.

The first thing I did when I arrived was to go to the place I was looking forward to visiting. Fondazione Prada

It is a contemporary art museum created by Prada. Both the building and the exhibits are "novel" in one word.
There were many exhibits, some very moving and others so avant-garde and completely incomprehensible that I wondered if they could even be called art. Some were so avant-garde and completely incomprehensible that I wondered if they could even be called art. Some of them were so avant-garde and incomprehensible that I wondered if they could be called art. It was a feast for the eyes.

MIDO

I thought that Milan is a city where you can visit various places adequately by subway and on foot.

MIDO

The tram is retro and cool. I wanted to ride it, but it seems to play the same role as a local bus, and I couldn't ride it because I didn't know where it was going. I would like to try it at least once during my stay.

MIDO

Condominiums where greenery seems to grow out of the buildings. A city where buildings that took hundreds of years to build and avant-garde buildings live together. It is very enjoyable to stroll around.

I hope to be able to give you a report again as today is the day of the event.
