October is exhibition season.

I went there for two days to see the new works of each brand.
In the eyeglass industry, major exhibitions are held twice a year, in spring and fall, and each brand and manufacturer designs new products for these exhibitions.

Autumn is a season that makes us opticians a little bit excited as well.

Let's start with the SITE exhibition at Hikarie in Shibuya.

First of all, we looked at a variety of frames for men and women, which we are familiar with.
Everywhere you look, all you see are real glasses.

This is a standard silhouette in our store.
This brand has many fans in our store for its overwhelming lightness and comfort.
This year is the 20th anniversary of the creation of Titanium's minimal art series, and they had a special visual exhibit.
We have probably handled most of the 20 years in our store.

From Shibuya, we took the Rinkai Line to Tokyo Big Sight to visit the IOFT exhibition.
I have been coming here every year for more than 10 years now, and every time I come, I take a picture of this huge structure.

The venue was the south wing, which was newly constructed for the Tokyo Olympics.
It was a cool two-floor exhibition hall, built to resemble an overseas exhibition hall.

Various manufacturers and designers, large and small, exhibited their products, but we first went to the Charmant booth to see the LineArt series.
While many frame makers in Sabae operate under a division of labor system, where a single frame is said to be completed after running around the city of Sabae, Sabae is one of the few major makers that can handle the entire process from design to manufacturing.

Once again, we have stocked LineArt and other Charmant brand products that we carry in our store.

As I attended seminars along the way and exchanged a lot of information with my colleagues in the same industry, I was able to hear many stories that will give me hints for the future again. Next time, I will tell you about the exhibition of the brands that I could not introduce today.
