At a quick glance, the frames are simple square frames, but the upper front rim is double-layered and hollow, giving the frames a three-dimensional appearance.

The double-layered construction increases the strength of the front against flexure, and as a design, the simple square is given a twist, killing two birds with one stone.

The temples have inverted R hinges, which moderate the side of the head and make the model very comfortable to wear.
