Lens Options

A wide variety of options are available to maximize the functionality of each lens.
Depending on the purpose, lenses can be made more durable or visibility can be improved.

blue light cut

This coating is effective in reducing glare from LED-based screens such as PCs, TVs, and smartphones. It is also effective in suppressing glare from the headlights of oncoming vehicles while driving at night.

Anti-scratch coat

Scratches on plastic lenses cannot be repaired once they have been applied. The anti-scratch coating improves the durability of the lens. It is also possible to add blue light cut.

UV-cut on back side

UV-cut on back side

The surface of the lens is 100% UV-cut, but there are still many lenses that are not actually UV-cut on the backside. The lenses also block UV rays that enter from the backside of the frames.

Premium bifocal lenses are standard equipment for those who choose the premium type bifocal lenses.

Thin lens processing

Convex lenses are used for farsighted or corrective/far-sighted reading glasses.
For convex lenses only, the lens can be custom made to be the thinnest possible to match the shape of the frame. This option is used by about 70% of our convex lens customers.
(This service is free of charge for users of progressive lenses such as bifocal lenses.)

Curve designation

Thin lens processingThin lens processing

When the curvature of the frame part (curve) and the curve of the lens you choose match perfectly, the lens will not be burdened and the design can be reproduced exactly as you hold it in your hand.
For those who value both vision and appearance, we recommend lenses that allow curve specification.
