Children Glasses
The first pair of children's glasses
Making eyeglasses that families can wear with peace of mind!
For your child's first pair of glasses, we want the whole family to feel at ease,
We will support your child's growth and environment.
Children handle eyeglasses more roughly than adults. We provide frames that are resistant to breakage even when handled roughly, and we choose frames made in Japan, where there are plenty of replacement parts available in case of breakage.
We want even children to be able to wear our products in just the right size, so we can accommodate a variety of sizes, from small faces to slightly larger ones.
From high farsightedness, strabismus, and amblyopia to children with high myopia, Glasses of Osaka will support your child's spectacle life while he or she is still growing up by selecting and meticulously adjusting spectacles.
3 points for selecting children's glasses
Point 1: Choose sturdy glasses that are not easily broken.
In a word, children's handling of spectacles is "violent. We believe that even if parents or guardians talk about this, problems such as bumping into, being bent by friends, or stepping on them can still occur.
Therefore, we choose durable frames made in Japan in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, so that they do not break easily and can be put back together with a little maintenance.
The reasons are as follows
1. eyeglass frames made in Sabae, a factory with excellent eyeglass manufacturing technology, are very durable.
2. in case of breakage, parts can be supplied immediately.
For children's spectacles, whose lens power may change in a short period of time, by choosing durable frames, many customers replace only the lenses when the power changes. This is economical in the long run.
Point 2: Choose the right size for your face.
Of course, fitting is the most important factor in determining the comfort of wearing spectacles for daily use, but what is even more important is to select frames that properly fit the size of the face from the beginning.
By choosing frames that fit the face, there is no need to forcibly bend the frames, so not only is there less stress on the frames, but the child wearing the frames can also wear them naturally and comfortably.
For preschoolers, we can also customize the frame so that it hangs well behind the ears, or replace the nose pad with a silicone saddle pad, among other special touches.
Point 3: Very important lens selection
The lenses we propose for your child's spectacles will vary depending on the power of the lens.
Children with weak myopia do not need high and thin lenses, but for children with strong farsightedness, it may be better to put in some thin lenses considering the thickness of the lens.
We will make suggestions for lens selection as economical as possible, taking into account the child's power level and projections that may change in the future.
Choosing spectacles for your child's purpose
We have the ability to handle everything from medical to sports as only a specialty store can.
Practicality is the key to frame selection. At our store, we will listen to your child's type and the scene in which he/she will wear the frames, and then we will recommend the best frames.
medical use
Children diagnosed with strabismus, amblyopia, high farsightedness, or high myopia at an ophthalmologist or school checkup will need to work closely with an ophthalmologist to develop a treatment plan and to become accustomed to wearing spectacles.
We are ready to help improve children's eye health in close cooperation with local clinics that are actively involved in children's eye care in the neighborhood. We encourage anyone who suspects farsightedness or strabismus to visit us for a checkup.
Since April 1, 2006, eyeglasses and contact lenses have been covered by medical care reimbursement only when the doctor determines that they are necessary for the treatment of "strabismus," "amblyopia," "congenital postoperative cataracts," etc. in children under 9 years old.

Optical Use
You can see the words on the blackboard or in a textbook only when you have sufficient visual acuity. Good eyesight is closely related to study and sports.
There is a widespread misconception in some circles that wearing eyeglasses causes vision loss, but it is unlikely that eyeglasses made with a thorough eye examination at our store or with a prescription from an ophthalmologist will cause vision loss.
In fact, there are cases where people continue to force themselves to squint even though they cannot see, and when they really need glasses, they find it difficult to get used to them because they are so strong.
*If you feel that your vision is deteriorating, please consult us first.
sports use
There are sports in which the probability of the ball hitting the face is very high, such as soccer and baseball.
For small children who want to play such sports but "can't wear contact lenses" or "can't see without glasses," goggles with power for sports are the glasses for them.
The goggle type will not damage your face or break your glasses even if there is an impact. The lenses are made of HOYA Phoenix lenses, which are very impact resistant. The lenses, which do not break even when struck with a hammer, will protect your child's face.
Ordinary eyeglasses are not suitable for sports because they are very weak against impact.
*The lenses used in sports spectacles are HOYA PHOENIX plastic lenses, which are unbreakable for eye health.
