I went to the biannual eyeglass frame exhibition, a celebration of eyeglasses.

Overseas brands, mainly from Europe, will display their new products presented at the MIDO exhibition in Italy, while domestic brands will create and display their new products for this exhibition and show them to the buyers of glasses stores like ours.

I will report on the event in several parts starting today.

It was a really cold and rainy day, but we went around energetically from the morning. This is the World Optical Fair held in Takadanobaba.

Here, manufacturers, wholesalers, and machine makers of eyeglasses, eyeglass cases, etc. are exhibiting. Here we saw mainly new frames for children and frames for men and women.

The location was quickly moved to Harajuku for a more fashionable atmosphere.
This is an exhibition of Yellows Plus, popular with many eyeglass lovers.

Instead of holding exhibitions with many manufacturers in a large venue, brands that emphasize the world view and atmosphere of frames may do so on a smaller scale with two or three companies. The inside of the venue is not an exhibition hall but an atmosphere of an optician's shop.

As usual, the new Yellows Plus frames are very beautiful and elegant. The designs do not betray our expectations. We can't wait to see the new arrivals, but they won't arrive until May or later.
