At Glasses of Osaka, we have started to collect eyeglasses that are no longer needed at home.

We have held the eyeglass collection every time there is a project by a manufacturer or other organization, and it has always been very popular and we have collected many unwanted eyeglasses.

This time, we will set up a collection box at our store in collaboration with the Fukui Optometric Association, which is active in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, the center of eyeglass production.

Our policy is to continue this time period for the time being until the box is full.

The frames received will be offered by the Fukui Eyeglass Association to a Shinto priest, and afterwards, craftsmen from the eyeglass production area will prepare the frames and donate them to developing countries.

Please bring your unneeded glasses from home, even if you purchased them at other stores.

Please note that broken eyeglass frames will not be accepted as they will be sent to developing countries after servicing.
